Stable name registration
A stable name may be registered with the NWPCS. This stable name is strictly personal and may not be used by others unless written permission is given.

A check will be made when requesting a stable name to ensure that it is not already in use at the NWPCS or in England at the WPCS (parent studbook). Also, the requested stable name should not be too similar to an already existing stable name.
A stable name is registered indefinitely. The registration will only expire if the holder of the stable name indicates this in writing. Also, the stable name will be registered with the CPR ( Central Prefix Register) in England. It is not allowed to use punctuation or spaces in the stable name.
Therefore, the application will also be reviewed by the CPR. They will make the final decision whether the stable name you have submitted can be included. In order to process the application of your stable name correctly, we would like to ask you to complete the application form and return it to the studbook office.
If you have questions about the above procedure or would like help filling out the form, please visit the studbook office.
