Josien de Boer and her Welsh pony Zodie Mijn Grensjuweel finished fifth as the best Dutch combination at the World Paramennen Championships last weekend in Exloo. “What a week, what an impressions what a fantastic experience to be able to participate,” Josien writes on her Facebook page.

Josien continued: “After a start to the dressage that didn't go the way we wanted, we had worked our way up from spot 15 to spot 6 after the marathon on Saturday and after the skill Sunday we climbed to finish spot 5, which we are really super proud of as a whole Team!

Welsh B breeder Josien de Boer (Stal Velvet) of Borger made her WC debut with the NWR chestnut mare Zodie Mijn Grensjuweel (by Leuns Veld's Winston). A. Schanssema-Geerlings bred the now 8-year-old mare out of Madelon (Woldhoeve's Bart x Anjershof's Rocky).
