lunging stallion inspection chk

In response to the protocol that has already been posted Regarding lunging during the upcoming CHK for NWR and WPBR stallions scheduled for their second inspection, a number of questions have arisen that we would like to bring to your attention so that everyone can act accordingly.

  1. The supervisor must be dressed appropriately, which means in white.
  2. A double-folded saddle pad or saddle cloth is permitted as a pad under the lunging girth.
  3. Lunging is performed by a single instructor, though it is permitted to receive assistance from a second instructor when attaching the side horse.

The reason there is a break between each of the stallions’ evaluations (hand-walking, walking on a hard surface, lunging) is to allow the stallions to perform the exercises as calmly as possible.
