After the overwhelming success of last year, Emma van der Burg, Dieke Slingerland and Anneke Dijkstra have joined forces again to organize the Welsh Stallion Show in North once again. We noticed that it was missed last year by the nice reactions. But also this time the entries poured in again.

The Welsh Stallion Show will take place in Sonnega on March 22, 2025, and we will begin at 7 p.m.

Tribune

It will be a wonderful evening with as many as 32 Welsh stallions: 6x Section A, 10x Section B, 3x Section D, 5x NWR and 8x WPBR. Be sure to check out the Welsh Stallion Show website and Facebook page for all participating stallions. Like last year, we have a grandstand again!

Find all participating stallions here

But we also thought of the participants! Someone will come to record the entire evening so that reels can be ordered from it. It is of course totally contemporary with the use of social media. And it is of course a wonderful advertisement for the stallions. Thanks to the many sponsors there will be a raffle with very nice prizes, including 5x a free mating, but there are many more great prizes to win. There is also a B&B overnight stay available.

Program

The evening will begin with a spectacular opening show, so be sure to be on time. After that all participating stallions will be shown in hand and in between there will be shows with stallions in the long lines or under saddle. Also the first offspring will be shown. There will be a number of foals.

The newly approved stallions from North are honored and all receive a nice gift. And we end the evening with a super fun final show. But in between you can of course enjoy a snack and a drink and music! In addition, there is a well-stocked straw village and you can make all kinds of purchases here.

There is ample parking. This year additional space has been made available for the many visitors.

Free admission and free parking!

As a Welsh lover, be sure to be in Sonnega March 22 at 7 p.m.!
