2024 judging season coming up, make sure you're prepared

April 27, 2024

It is almost time, judging season 2024 starts again! Next week the question program will be online and then registration will also open soon after that.

Do you also make sure everything is taken care of on time?

Below is a list of what you can arrange in advance:

  • The very first thing you can do is become a member if you are not already. You do so by clicking here.
  • You can now also participate in judging without becoming a member here are additional costs involved (see fee schedule)
  • Check to see if your pony is already registered in my welsh and otherwise arrange this as soon as possible.
  • Are the pony's vaccinations already in order? Below is a piece from the questionnaire on how to do this:

When participating in an Event of the NWPCS, a valid influenza vaccination is mandatory. The following provisions apply to this:

For horses born before January 1, 2022, the basic vaccination against influenza must consist of two vaccinations, administered a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 92 days apart. During the period between these two vaccinations, the horse should not be competed.

For horses born in the year 2022 or later the basic influenza vaccination should consist of three vaccinations: The second vaccination must be administered a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 92 days after the first, followed by a third vaccination administered a minimum of 120 days and a maximum of 7 months after the second vaccination. During the period between the second and third vaccinations, a pony may participate in events.

Subsequently, the follow-up vaccination should be given annually (example: if a pony was vaccinated on March 1, 2020, the follow-up vaccination should take place no later than March 1, 2021).

A vaccination must be administered at least seven days before the (first) day of the event.

On this page is a list of buddies who are willing to help.
