Ben Platzer announces his resignation as president of the NWPCS Judging Corps
Dear Members,
In early March, Ben Platzer sent us an email with an explanation asking to be relieved of his position as president of jury corps.
Ben has diligently and happily held this position since the winter of 2020-2021, initially on an interim basis then on a structural basis. During this period he has played an important role not only in the judging job, but also in promoting or organizing the activities of the judging corps and advising on various policies. We could always call on him.
In a personal explanation, Ben now indicates that the burden of his professional work and other obligations are unfortunately no longer compatible with his available time. Ben recognizes the signs and concludes that it is time to reset his priorities.
Nevertheless, Ben assures that he will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as President of the NWPCS Judging Corps through the calendar year 2024. He strives to attend scheduled meetings, but requests to be formally relieved of his duties as of December 31, 2024.
Ben expresses his sincere thanks to all members and sections for their cooperation and commitment. He emphasizes the renewed élan that has been created within the club and praises the dedication of all to the club with the most wonderful ponies.
It is important to note that Ben Platzer does remain available as a judge for the NWPCS, where he will continue to lend his expertise and experience to the association.
On behalf of the board and all members of the NWPCS, we would like to thank Ben Platzer very much for his valuable contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
