Hendi's Arrow, CHK 2019
As many as 20 new stallions to be licensed in the WPBR. What especially stands out for me is that we have 3 offspring of Cassanova du Bois. But in addition, we also see 2 offspring of champion stallion Hendi's Arrow. There are also 2 offspring by Jonkers Jayden. But what struck me perhaps even more is the influence of Orchard Boginov which as dam's sire comes back regularly and still has a lot of influence.
I treat the stallions in alphabetical order of sires:
- Raven by Anjershof Shadok out of the mare Bunbury Catalina. The 2nd crop of Anjershof Shadok who has already earned a sport predicate. And already gave a 2nd viewing stallion. Mother Bunbury Catalina is a section B mare who was imported by herself and has been successful here with Anna van Munster in the first ridden and young handler classes.
- Camelot V.D. Ponderosahoeve by Cassanova du Bois out of the mare Sammy van de Ponderosahoeve. Sport stallion Cassanova du Bois is no stranger certainly in breeding, in addition to a studbook son he has given many predicate daughters, including the reserve day champion of the Central Mare Inspection 2023. Sammy van de Ponderosahoeve is a star mare registered with the NRPS and has already given the star mare Elisa Rose v.d. Ponderosahoeve.

- Pippin's Pomme Padour A.T. by Cassanova du Bois out of the mare Orchard Orange Pippin. Dam Orchard Orange Pippin made it to junior champion as a yearling and later did so again as an adult. In addition, Orange Pippin also proved herself as a dam with many successful offspring. Like the ponies Pippin's Playboy A.T. and Pippin's Pride A.T. , these were very successful with Kimberly Pap up to higher levels. From both sides this young stallion is full of sport genes.
- Rifei's Valentino by Cassanova du Bois out of the mare Haandpoal's Rianne. Mother Haandpoal's Rianne is a section B mare and holds the ster predicate. Sire of Haandpoal's Rianne is the approved stallion Equus Rasputin from whom Heidepeel's Constantijn, for example, is a notable descendant with very many good sport performances, including during the Hippiade dressage.
- MR. Duke by Dating AT out of the mare Dream of Heiligenberg. Dating AT was champion of the 2014 Westphalian Stallion Show for Riding Ponies, out of the 1st judging crop of the double federal champion Dimension AT, who already showed his son how to do it as champion stallion in 2010. Dam Dream of Heiligenberg is also registered in Germany. So this stallion is all German bred.
- Nevada by FS Numero Uno out of the mare Samba de Lavinia. With a total of 36 licensed sons, it is fair to say that FS Numero Uno is a sire. In addition, he has more than 30 state and premium mares. And he himself also performs successfully under saddle. Dam Samba de Lavinia is registered in Germany. Dam's sire Wengelo's Ricardo has many successful offspring including 5 approved stallions and 7 2nd viewing stallions.
- Sunne D'Arbanville by Hendi's Arrow out of the mare Orchard Esther. With Hendi's Arrow we see very good results in the judging track, from foal champion to reserve day champion at the stallion inspections. At every stallion show where he was, he was allowed to receive a (reserve) champion ribbon. Dam Orchard Esther is a keur and preferent mare with 3x a ster daughter and 1 keur mare. Mother's sire Orchard Boginov was already a 3 year old stallion with the best trot. He performed very special during the stallion selection by becoming champion no less than 5 times. Boginov comes from a breeding family that has proven to belong to the top of the Netherlands. Boginov has already produced several approved stallions at home and abroad. In 2012 Boginov was declared preferent. Orchard Boginov already received the Sport predicate at the age of 6.

- Keizerskroon Moonlight by Hendi's Arrow out of the mare Keizerskroon Highlight. Keizerskroon Highlight is a crown mare who as a 3 year old became reserve champion of the day at the inspection in Hellendoorn. And as sire of the mother we see Pippin's Pride A.T., a stallion with many successes in both sport and breeding.
- Harvey V.D. Ponderosahoeve by Hendi's Arrow out of the mare Cissy. Hendi's Arrow we have already discussed above. Mother Cissy earned a 1st premium at the regional keuring as a foal. Cissy is out of the star mare Maxima. The full sister of Cissy is the keur mare Lissy. Lissy has already won several championships such as foal champion, youth champion and section champion.
- Popeye HD by Holly Moonlight out of the mare Tinder. Holly Moonlight will show his first crop at the Central Stallion Show. We did not see mare Tinder at the keuring before, but she is by Dating AT out of mare Bijsterhof's Ginger. Among the offspring of Bijsterhof's Ginger we also see the approved stallion Gin Power.
- Parzantos by Jonkers’ Jayden out of the mare Veenstra's Zanthe. Jonkers’ Jayden is a breeding stallion with a nice list of honors in his offspring. With 3 studbook sons including performance champion Hania's Memphis. But also many ster mares, a keur and a crown mare. Veenstra's Zanthe is preferent and star mare, was foal champion, won as a yearling the youth championship in Tolbert, and the year after she was best 3-year old.
- Cor by Jonkers’ Jayden out of the mare Ilona. The mare Ilona has a nice list of honors to her name: foal champion at the regional inspection, foal champion and reserve section champion at the central mare inspection. Best 3 year old and section champion at the regional inspection and later also best 3 year old at the central mare inspection.
- Luxor by Le Matsjo out of the mare Rosaly. Le Matsjo was approved as a breeding stallion by the NRPS in 2001. Le Matsjo himself competed at Z2 dressage and Z jumping and was champion of the young stallions as a 4-year old. Many of his daughters are star or keur and some of his sons were approved by the NRPS. Many of his offspring earned the sport predicate, most of them in the dressage sport. Dam Rosaly is an NRPS keur preferent mare.
- PRÆST'S Lechamp by Meedenblik Linfield out of the mare Carletti. Meedenblik Linfield is approved at the stallion approval in Rheinland and at the wpbr also he was best 3 year old. This is the first crop we are going to see at the stallion approval. Mother Carletti is a German registered mare. Mother's sire FS Calimero contributed to a silver medal in the Danish team at the European Championships.

- Mr. Blue Sky by Nieuwmoed's Milord out of the mare Night Watcher van de Keienberg. Nieuwmoed's Milord presents his first crop of offspring. He himself won the reserve section championship in 2023. Night Watcher van de Keienberg is registered with the NRPS, where he received the keur predicate and successfully completed the ABOP test.
- Mynavarino by Nieuwmoed's Milord out of the mare Bandita. Bandita is an NRPS keur mare who successfully completed the ABOP test. Dam's sire Orchard Boginov, as discussed earlier, is one of the leading hallmark stallions in the Welsh Studbook.
- Smidshoeve's Alladin by Nightfever II out of the mare Bjirmen's Tjitske. This combination previously produced the star mare Smidshoeve's Filine. Nightfever II has jumped at the highest level in the ponies and competed several European Championships. Mother Bjirmen's Tjitske is a preferent mare who already produced a 2nd viewing stallion.
- Turfhorst La coste by Turfhorst Andrew out of the mare Turfhorst Larone. Turfhorst Andrew has as sire Coelenhage's Purioso. With a quick glance I count more than enough points in Coelenhage's Purioso for the preferent predicate which says enough about his successful breeding. Turfhorst Larone herself holds the ster predicate and has already produced two 2nd viewing stallions. The dam's sire is the successful Orchard Boginov.
- Krack's Palladin by Veenstra's Krack out of the mare Lûna Weering. Veenstra's Krack previously produced the approved stallion Dancer van het Singel. Dam Lûna Weering previously produced a ster mare. Lûna Weering herself descends from the NRPS approved stallion Le Matsjo.
- Rooskamps Classic King HH by Westerhuis Mercury out of the mare Cladwddcoch Royal Celebration. Westerhuis Mercury will show his first crop at the Central Stallion Show. Westerhuis Mercury was the performance topper of his year. Mother Cladwddcoch Royal Celebration is a section B mare who was imported to the Netherlands. Queenie is a daughter of the deceased stallion Bronheulog Georgio. The Bronheulog stud is currently still breeding with Bronheulog Georgio's full sister Bronheulog Gemma.
- In the 4 years and older we see O'Atje A.T. HSL RM who was also offered last year a palomino stallion. An offspring of Oosting Alexander out of a mare by Goldstar Du bois. Father Oosting Alexander is a son of Pippin's Pride A.T. , approved stallion and FEI pony. As mother we see the mare Angel's Abigail AT, provisional keur by the NRPS.
