Registration for the 2023 NWPCS Inspections and Inspection Day Is Now Open

It is possible to MijnWelsh register for the inspection day and the regional inspections. The first deadline of May 13, 2023, is the one from the inspection day on June 3, 2023.

Inspection Day

The 2023 inspection season kicks off on June 3 with an inspection day in Putten. Here, the ponies will be graded, and the top ponies aged 3 years and older will be eligible for the “ster,” “keur,” and “kroon” designations. They do not need to be referred to the Central Inspection for this. No rankings will be determined on the inspection day, and there will be no championships.

Regional inspections

At the regional inspections, the ponies are awarded prizes and ranked by quality. The top ponies are invited to the central inspection. There, ponies 3 years of age and older can earn the “ster,” “keur,” or “kroon” designations. In addition, some inspections feature performance classes, classes for young handlers, and/or breeding groups.

Central inspection

The show season will conclude with the national show on August 26, 2023, in Houten. This event will feature the very best of Welsh ponies and Cobs.
