Bluedyfas Nigel first foal of 2023

The Welsh section A foal Bluedyfas Nigel (V. Blue Dyfa's Jaimy) out of the studbook mare Noa van de Es (by Ysselvliedts Highwood) heralds the 2023 foaling season.

“Noa was actually due Feb. 10 and although we could already clearly see from her that it was coming it was still a surprise” says breeder Dieke Slingerland.

Nigel was born on Feb. 1 around 1:30 p.m.

Movers

About the combination, Dieke is very clear: “This is the third time in a row we have made this combination and it just works very well. The first two foals are good movers. The oldest is now two years old and is in rearing for the stallion selection in 2024. And last year's foal has gone to a super nice family, where she will hopefully become the perfect children's pony.”

Foal Registration

The birth of your foal can be notified via My Welsh. You must do this within 14 days of the birth. The mating is visible in most cases when you click on ‘Register foal’ in the Dashboard. This only applies when you have mated with an NWPCS approved stallion. If you are registering a foal by a non-NWPCS approved stallion, you will send the original stud insemination agreement from the relevant studbook by mail to the NWPCS studbook office.
