New treasurer appointed

Last fall Cor de Jong took his leave as treasurer of the NWPCS. The Council of Members thanks him warmly for all the work he has done for the studbook. Meanwhile his successor is also known.

Indeed, Annemiek Kuipers-Smeulders was appointed as the new treasurer by the Council of Members on January 3. Annemiek lives in the North Division (Holsloot, Drenthe) and has a financial background. She works as a freelancer in business services. She breeds NWR and WPBR ponies herself and has been a member of our studbook since 2016. Together with her husband René, Annemiek has two children (Ben and Ella). Her husband owns an agricultural business (dairy farm/agriculture). The photo shows Annemiek with her broodmare Reduster Fleur (by De Goede Ree Now or Never x Wester Aikema's Adios).

The Council of Members congratulates Annemiek on her appointment to the main board and wishes her every success in carrying out her activities for the studbook.
