Marieke Willemstein Named New Editor-in-Chief of Welsh Pony & Cob Magazine

As of July 1, Marieke Willemstein has started as the new editor-in-chief of Welsh Pony & Cob Magazine. She succeeds Anja Rozema, who stepped down earlier this year. We are very pleased to have her join our team and look forward to working with her.

Marieke has many years of experience in the KWPN world. For 12 years, she served as secretary of the KWPN Zeeland region and of the Zeeland Warmblood Horse Study Club. She is also the founder and organizer of several events, including ‘De Zeeuwse Meesters’ and the ‘Duvals Zeeland Dressage Cup.’.

Communication and Organization

Through her work, she’s familiar with communication and organization. Marieke: “I’m really excited about this and look forward to working with the board, all the volunteers, and Daniëlle Carrière, who’s handling the online coverage. I’m going to do my best to make this magazine just as wonderful as it was under Anja Rozema’s leadership! I hope to meet you all at the show in Heteren, where I’ll be enjoying the exceptionally handsome Welsh ponies.”

“Do you have any great ideas for the magazine? If so, please let me know! You can reach me at marieke@mediaprimair.nl.”
