NWPCS Inspections in Accordance with COVID-19 Guidelines in 2021
Dannah v. Frisia's Top Gold
Coronavirus continues to have a hold on us this inspection season as well, but we’re pleased that there will be more opportunities this coming season than there were in 2020. For the upcoming season, we will organize one national inspection day, three inspections in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, and—subject to change—one day for the working classes. In addition, if the guidelines in effect at that time allow it, we will organize a British-style show on September 11. There will be no Central Inspection in 2021.
So what does a vehicle inspection or inspection day entail under COVID-19 guidelines?
- Participants must present their ponies themselves or arrange for a presenter and, if necessary, a handler.
- There are no overall championships, but at the inspections, a foal champion, adult champion, best three-year-old, and youth champion are selected for each section.
- Any exterior ratings will be awarded on the day of the inspection or examination.
- There are no user sessions on the inspection day, and inspections are conducted in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.
- Read more here about the rules regarding the public.

A request has been submitted regarding the organization of home inspections. We have decided not to organize these, at least not in 2021. The Members’ Council will discuss this in the fall to determine whether organizing home inspections could be a worthwhile addition for the NWPCS in the future.
Disclaimer: If the government announces measures that make it impossible to carry out the above, events will be canceled or their format will be changed.
