The Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells (Wales) has been canceled again this year. The organizer, the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society (RWAS), announced this today in a press release.
The RWAS has announced that it has no choice but to cancel several of its events, including the Royal Welsh Show. The decision was made after careful consideration due to the current restrictions, as outlined in the ‘Coronavirus Control Plan.’.
The Society is committed to ensuring that the showground is ready for events once regulations allow. Despite the postponement of the Royal Welsh Show, the Society is committed to exploring every possibility for organizing small, COVID-19-compliant events this summer, and its goal is to host a bumper Winter Fair.
The Society will make further announcements later this spring, once there is more clarity regarding the pandemic and the associated restrictions.
