Introducing: Online Foal Champion of April 2020

During the second half of September 2020, there will be an opportunity to vote for your favorite for the 2020 Online Foal Champion election. The candidates are the Online Foal Champions from the months of April through August. In the coming time, we will introduce the monthly champions to you one by one. We begin with Korneweijdes Cassius Clay, the April favorite.

Participants were asked to submit three photos of the monthly champion. One of the foal standing, one of the foal in motion and one photo of the foal's head.

During this month, it will be possible for everyone to vote for your favorite for the title through a poll on this website. In addition, NWPCS members may submit their placement of the first three by email. In addition, NWPCS judge Davy Wormgoor will place and comment on the foals.

NWPCS Online Foal Champion of April 2020

Breeder and owner Lisan van Zante says of Korneweijdes Cassius Clay: “He is the third foal from the combination Heideparks Him and Tunnels Candy. His full sister Korneweijdes Chimaya D'Avril was National Foal Champion in Putten in 2018. His other full sister Korneweijdes Candy Sue was Regional Foal Champion at Putten in 2019.”

“His sire Heideparks Him (by Spoorzichts Hilfiger) was a national champion as a foal and also placed first as a 3- and 4-year-old at the Central Stallion Show. His dam Tunnels Candy (by Baledon Valpariso) holds the keur predicate. She won a Reserve Section and Section Champion title at the Regional Inspection in Sevenum in 2012 and 2013. Cassius will enter rearing with us and if all may go well, will be prepared for the Stallion Show in three years.”
