As of today, September 1, Astrid Hoppenbrouwers officially steps down as Secretary of the NWPCS. The Council of Members thanks her warmly for all the work she has done for the studbook. Meanwhile, her successor is also known.
Frederike Snel-van Daalen has in fact been unanimously appointed by the Council of Members as the new secretary. The history of the Welsh pony breeding of the van Daalen family is long and also in the past 20 years many ‘Vanda’ Welsh ponies have been born. At the moment there is no breeding, but there are still a number of mares walking in the pasture. For several years, Frederike has been president of the Dragon Welsh Pony Show. Previously she has been involved administratively with the client board of a healthcare facility and a water board, among other things. Frederike lives in Harderwijk with her husband and son and has a company active in the marketing and communications field.
The Council of Members congratulates Frederike on her appointment to the main board and wishes her every success in carrying out her activities for the studbook.
