Today Astrid Hoppenbrouwers announced that she will resign as secretary of the NWPCS as of September 1, 2020. Astrid is very busy building up her company “Horses in hands” and partly due to the corona crisis she is forced to focus entirely on her equestrian training center and rehabilitation activities. On behalf of the Council of Members we would like to thank Astrid for all her efforts for our studbook and wish her the best of luck with the further development of her company.

Vacancy

The vacancy for the position of Secretary of the Main Board will soon be opened from the Council of Members. The procedure is as follows: applicants send a letter of application to the attention of the President of the Council of Members. Then the confidence committee of the Council of Members (consisting of 3 members of the Council of Members and the president) speaks with the candidates. In case of a positive verdict, up to 2 candidates can have an interview with (a representation of) the main board. The chairman of the Council of Members is also present at this interview. This then leads to a preferred candidate, who is recommended for appointment by the Committee on Confidential Matters to the full Council of Members.

With the opening of the vacancy a profile text will of course also be made available, which will be widely distributed through the communication channels of our studbook. We hope in this way to quickly find a good replacement for Astrid.

Bastiaan Meerburg, chairman Council of Members
