Interim Update on 2020 Inspection Registrations
LANGVENNEN NA AMAU
Dear members, we are pleased to announce that many of you are registering your pony (or ponies) for one of the three inspection days we are organizing this year in place of the Regional and National Mare Inspections. Registrations are coming in very quickly, and if this trend continues, we will soon reach the maximum of 60 ponies (30 per ring) per inspection in the South, North, and Central regions. We expect the maximum number of purebred ponies for the Central location in Putten to be reached as early as this weekend. Registration is also moving quickly for the other locations, and we will be forced to close registration for an inspection location once it is full.
After a lot of planning and careful organization, we’ve been able to increase the number of ponies that can be registered per inspection day from 60 to 90, which means that each ring can accommodate 15 additional ponies. In practice, this means that a maximum of 45 breed-registered ponies and 45 NWR/WBPR ponies can be inspected per inspection day. This is the absolute maximum for each location.
We previously mentioned that the Putten location is nearly full; however, this applies only to purebred ponies—there is still room to register for the NWR and WPBR. Once the Putten location is full, we will close the registration option via ‘My Welsh.’ However, if you have an NWR or WPBR that you still wish to register, please contact the board at the email address below so we can add it manually.
We ask for your understanding regarding this situation and would like to point out that it is still possible to register at another location. If a location reaches capacity and is closed before the specified closing date, we will notify you in advance. However, this decision will be made separately for each location and each ring.
Any excess pony entries will be processed in the order they are received; these may be transferred to another location or withdrawn. We will inform you of this as soon as possible.
