corona
The NWPCS is closely monitoring the situation surrounding the coronavirus outbreak in the Netherlands. We try with the utmost care to ensure that our members and volunteers do not come into contact with the virus. We follow any advice from the government, the RIVM or the GGD.
Unfortunately, it is expected that this new coronavirus will remain present among the population for some time to come. All advice and measures of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) are therefore aimed at containing or delaying the consequences of this virus outbreak. Therefore, yesterday on March 23, the Dutch government further tightened measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus. For our association this means that until June 1, no, (additional) trainings, events, meetings etc. will be organized or take place. Also the chipping of foals will not be started until further notice.
The Executive Committee has decided that further consequences for the judging season and the possible relocation of cancelled events are not foreseeable at this time and will, pending how this crisis will develop further, make decisions about this at the end of April. As soon as we know more, or have come to a decision by the end of April, we will make sure that everyone will be kept informed about further developments through our website and facebook.
