A New Category at the Stallion Show? [video]

There was a lot of laughter when Davy Wormgoor presented the 15-year-old Section A breeding premium stallion Shamrocklake Lord Caernafon (nickname Brutus) on a bicycle at the stallion inspection on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The video we shared of it on our Facebook page ‘went viral.’.

After the older A-studbook stallions had been presented and taken a lap of honor, Davy and ‘Brutus’ quickly left the arena. However, the pair returned immediately, with Davy riding ‘Brutus’ around the arena. Astrid Hoppenbrouwers filmed this ‘unannounced show,’ and it received numerous likes and shares on our Facebook page alone.

On Facebook, Davy says: “All the stallions made it through to the second round of viewings on Friday, but unfortunately things didn’t go quite as well yesterday. I’m a little disappointed, but that’s all part of it. Still, we spent another weekend away from home and had a great time. And we’re going completely viral with Lord Caernarfon (Brutus). Congratulations to all fellow breeders and owners on your results.”
