The Disciplinary Board recently issued a ruling in a disciplinary case in which an official of the studbook was accused of behaving inappropriately and disrespectfully toward two other officials of our association. The Disciplinary Board found the allegations to be conclusively proven and ruled that the person in question should receive a reprimand. Since this person has since resigned from the association, the stud book sent a registered letter stating that this person may not become a member of the stud book for the next two years and that, during this period, he will be denied access to the show ring and grounds/buildings during NWPCS events. The board’s proposal to impose these measures was unanimously supported by the Members’ Council. At the request of the Members’ Council, this case has also been made public to make it clear to everyone that misconduct within our association will not be tolerated.
