Meedenblik vs. Linfield

Gerrel Vink’s NWPCS-registered stallion Meedenblik Linfield (by Meedenblik’s General) successfully competed in the stallion inspection in Germany. He was the only Dutch stallion entered among all those formidable German competitors!

The stallion inspection in the Rhineland took place on Sunday, November 17, 2019. “Meedenblik Linfield completed all the rounds and presented himself fantastically,” said Vink. “During the third presentation, he received loud applause from the audience and was therefore convincingly approved!”

Born in 2017, Meedenblik Linfield is a son of Meedenblik’s General (by Oosting Amigo). He was bred by the Dijkstra family of Sauwerd out of the ster mare Kooihûster Liwinda, who is herself a daughter of De Goede Ree’s Now or Never and the crown, preferent Aester Lowinda (by Bjirmen’s Wytse).

Lots of charm

The German judging panel described Meedenblik’s Linfield as a racy stallion with great presence. A stallion who has consistently shown strong movement and comes from a dam line rich in predicate titles, which also boasts a strong sporting pedigree.

Gerrel Vink bought the bay Linfield as a foal from its breeders.
