Radiant champions at welsh field day in Putten

September 27, 2019

On Saturday, September 21, the Middle Division held its sports day in Putten. That event also determined who would be crowned the overall champion based on the results of both sports days combined.

Small size

In the small class, Louise van Nes competed with Haanpaol’s Rossi. In the M2 class, she scored 193.5 points, and in the second test, she scored 196 points. In both tests, this was enough to secure the victory.

Louise also outpaced everyone in the jumping competition; with a clear round and a fast jump-off, she took first place there as well.
As a result, Louise was awarded the ribbon for the all-around championship, and after winning both competition days, she also claimed the supreme all-around championship.

Large size

In the senior division, Claudia Krijgsman and Saffir took the championship. Claudia competed with Saffir among the horses in the ZZ-light class. With scores of 234.5 and 230, she took first place in both tests. In show jumping, Claudia Krijgsman competed with Saffir in the Class B horse division, where she received 5 penalty points. Nevertheless, it was still enough to secure the all-around championship.

For the Supreme All-Around Championship, Romy Mantingh was able to saddle up her Bijsterhof Furioso. Romy finished just 1 point behind Claudia in Putten, but since she had won the competition day in Harich, she ended up at the top of the standings for the Supreme All-Around Championship.
