Promising start to performance test NWR stallions

At the beautiful riding facility of the Putten Equestrian Association, more than 50 interested spectators watched as a magnificent group of 10 young NWR stallions were presented on September 5, 2019, during the first day of evaluation.

The stallions entered the arena in pairs. This gave the stallions ample opportunity to show themselves to the performance committee, consisting of Ms. T. Houwen (training director and chair), Mr. E. Langevoort (representing the stallion selection committee), and Ms. H. van Muiswinkel (representing the riding technique committee). ‘We saw a fine group tonight. Some stallions were still quite green, while others were already more trained. That doesn’t matter in and of itself. What matters is that the stallions demonstrate their natural talent and potential from a state of calm,’ emphasized the training director.

Second evaluation

The second evaluation will take place on Thursday, October 3, also in Putten, starting at 4:30 p.m.
