Interim Board of the Southern Division

Over the past year, the Southern Division Board has been understaffed in terms of the number of positions filled. Several attempts have been made to recruit new division board members. To date, these efforts have not yielded any results. Currently, Kitty Jonker is the only active board member.

This is not a desirable situation, and a number of members of the department have expressed their concerns and asked the Executive Board to take action on this matter.

The Executive Board, in consultation with Kitty, has decided to appoint an interim chapter board to serve until January 1, 2020.

Over the next six months, consultations will be held with members regarding the future organizational structure of the NWPCS, and this topic will be discussed at the upcoming chapter meetings before any decisions can be made.

In consultation with Kitty, it has been decided that she will assume the role of department secretary effective immediately. Her duties as treasurer will soon be transferred to Cor de Jong, who will serve as interim treasurer. I will take on the role of interim chair.
