For the Central Mare Inspection on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Kootwijk, breeders can enter an entire breeding group. A wonderful section in which breeders can showcase their breeding. An extra special section in this anniversary year. The prize money is € 500,- (winner), € 250,- (2nd) and € 150,- (3rd). The closing date for entries is next Friday, August 2!

The breeding groups, as well as the use classes and the classes for young handlers, will be judged by Marc and Anita Aerts of the Voermanhof Stud from Putte, Belgium.

Breeding Group

In this section the groups are judged on their uniformity and whether there is an improvement in quality compared to the mother or the father. Thus, it can be determined whether the parent animal makes a positive contribution to breeding.

The breeding group will be commended and placed. Due to the 60th anniversary of the NWPCS, this section will be given extra attention to showcase mares and stallions that have contributed greatly to Welsh breeding again at the inspection.

Therefore, this year it is possible to enter directly for the Central Inspection and pre-selection at the Regional Inspections is not necessary. Additional prizes will be made available for the best breeding groups.

Registration for participation in this section must be made through the studbook office: secretariaat@nwpcs.nl. You can participate in the section: Breeding Group mares, with at least three offspring, in Breeding Group stallions at least five offspring.
