On Saturday, July 6, the second competition in the Divoza Championship for young dressage ponies was held in De Mortel. The classes for four-, five- and six-year-old dressage ponies were well filled and especially in the four-year-olds there was a very strong leading group. The victory in this class went to Renolution's Liandro with Pleuni Raaijmakers who scored a top score of no less than 90 points.
The competition in De Mortel was organized under the direction of the NRPS. The ponies were judged this day by judges Kees op ’t Hoog and Trudi Houwen.
The judges were very satisfied with the performances of the participants and look back on a nice and relaxed day. Kees says, ‘I regularly judge classes for young dressage ponies with Trudi, so we are on the same page. For us, especially the four-year-old ponies stood out this competition. We saw a very good and strong leading group with the winner Renolution's Liandro with Pleuni Raaijmakers as the absolute highlight. But all ponies in the leading group showed a lot of quality and were presented very correctly. We certainly saw some ‘wow’ moments. During the award ceremony we also gave the participants the necessary compliments for that.’
NWR performance stopper
NWR studbook stallion Liandro (by Orchard Red Prince) was bred by H Schoemaker out of the star mare Orchard La Loi Lux (by Heitrak's Marvin). He is the 2018 performance topper. The stallion is owned by Jan Willem Sloof.
