Veenstra's Jester

The eight-year-old NWR studbook stallion Veenstra’s Jester (by Klein Roderijs Cocktail) has been sold to Ireland, where he will continue his career under a nine-year-old rider and her eleven-year-old brother. Jennifer Veenstra competed successfully with the palomino stallion up to the Z2 dressage level.

Veenstra’s Grapjas was born at Erik Veenstra’s stables in Nuis. As a three-year-old, he was approved by the NWPCS. Grapjas is a son of Klein Roderijs Cocktail and the star mare Veenstra’s Anita (by Le Matsjo).

Successful in dressage

Veenstra’s Grapjas, ridden by Jennifer Veenstra, was very successful in the dressage ring. In addition to winning many first, second, and third-place prizes, they were reserve regional champions in the L2, M2, and Z1 classes, regional champions in the M1 class, winners of the Hypo Fryslan Cup L1, and placed sixth in the Z1 final at the Hippiade.

Retrieved from Facebook Jennifer says, “I’m glad we found such a nice new home for you. Although it really wasn’t an easy decision, because I’ve watched you grow from the moment you were born into the top-class pony you are today. I’m going to miss you, sweet boy, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from you!”
