Springbourne Capricorn reserve supreme champion at Norwich

The section A studbook stallion Springbourne Capricorn of Gerrit and Leny van Beek became reserve supreme champion at the EWPCA Bronze Medal Spring Show in Norwich on Easter Monday.

Capricorn, who has a lot of stature, was approved for breeding at the NWPCS central stallion approval in 2013. He is a son of Cascob Red Kite and Springbourne Corona (by Springbourne Caraway). Corona is a full sister to the influential Springbourne Charmer.

Girths Beekberry

The gray stallion already produced several quality offspring. His son Singel's Beekberry registered in the studbook as a breeding stallion this year. Daughter Singels Nina managed to win championships at several inspections.

Leased to GB

Springbourne Capricorn has been leased to Great Britain for 2018 and 2019 for breeding and showing to Mark and Liz Kilbey of Idyllic Stud. So after a successful season in 2018, he is also embarking on a good show season this year.

Moreover, recently at Idyllic Stud, a beautiful colt by him was born to the mare Idyllic Guinevere.
