The NWR mare Morning Sky (Kielshoop Honeyhill x Orchard Boginov, breeder. S. van de Voort) has a new owner. A 12-year-old rider. So reports rider Lauren Neville on her Facebook page. The now 11-year-old chestnut mare has been competed by Lauren in dressage up to international level for the past four years.

Morning Sky became champion at the regional inspection in Houten as a four-year-old. At the national mare inspection in Kootwijk that same year she was placed second and received the ster predicate. As a 5- and 6-year-old, the chestnut mare won the Divoza Cup under Paulette Kral. Morning Sky won more dressage titles worth mentioning; she was Dutch champion in the classes L2, M1 and Z1, was winner at Outdoor Gelderland in the Z2 class and winner at Indoor Brabant.

It's All Dressage

At the Subtop three-day It's All Dressage last October in Nieuw en St Joosland, Lauren and Morning Sky finished second in the nations test and won the individual test.

The 18-year-old Lauren is switching completely to horses herself. She says she is happy that ‘Sky’ is staying in the Netherlands. “You are going to bring as much joy to a 12-year-old girl from today as you have brought to me,” she wrote on her Facebook page last Sunday.

The new owners would like to remain unknown for a while so they can take their time to get to know each other better.
