As of January 1, Daniëlle Carrière started as web editor of the NWPCS. We are very pleased that she is joining our team and look forward to the upcoming cooperation. Together we will continue to further development of the website with the ultimate goal of making it an up-to-date and content good Welsh platform to be.
Danielle would like to introduce herself:
Daniëlle Carrière, 44 years (June 6, 1974), living in Winterswijk Woold (Achterhoek). Living together with Henk Smalbraak.
I studied English as a teacher in Utrecht, but after my LIO internship in 2000, I started working as an equestrian journalist. Since then I have written for various media (print and online) about different disciplines and many breeds of horses and ponies. I started riding ponies when I was eight years old and my first pony was a Welsh A.
The Welsh pony appeals to us because of her beauty and not unimportant the fine and willing to work character. We have been breeding KWPNs for some time and in 2008 we also started Welsh breeding. This year our self-bred section B ster mare HSH First Lady (by Spring Star's Spirit) is expecting her fourth foal. She is in foal to Maarlens Romeo. In addition, in 2019 four KWPN foals.
Every year, we visit the Central Stallion Inspection, the National Mare Inspection and possibly a few other Welsh inspections, shows and events whether as participants or not.
In addition, we drive two Welsh Cobs in single and two-in-hand. These are the falcons Dearnevalley Chardonay and Ridgehill Franco. Every year we visit the Autumn Cob Sale in Builth Wells and we have also visited several stud farms in Wales and visited the Royal Welsh Show, unforgettable experiences.
I am very much looking forward to working for the Welsh website. work and hope in this way, together with the many people involved, to contribute to a diverse Welsh platform.
If you have any news for the website, I hope you will tip the web editors via whatsapp (0651500766) or email ([email protected]). Think of a special performance of a Welsh Pony or Cob in the sport or breeding or, for example, a stallion mutation. But also general news, for example, about horse welfare, attracts the attention of the Welsh media team.
