During the first assessment day, it is also possible for 2nd viewing stallions NWR and WPBR to still obtain a ticket to participate in the track, in order to still have a chance of registration as a studbook stallion.
Course of business
The performance test consists of two assessment days and a three-day final examination. The performance committee evaluates the stallions during the three assessment days.
The stallions are observed by the performance committee under their own riders during several examination days. The responsibility of training before and during the performance test lies with the owner of the stallion.
The three basic gaits, aptitude as a dressage pony and as a show jumper, and character are evaluated by the committee. It observes the progress of the stallions and makes a written report after each assessment day. The owner of the stallion will be informed in writing of this report with any (training) advice after each assessment day.
Guest riders
During the second examination day, the stallions will be presented by three guest riders appointed by the studbook.
Stable behavior
Stallion behavior will be observed during the three-day examination by a person to be appointed by the performance committee, who will be involved in the daily care of the stallions during the examination.
Studbook stallion
At the end of the final examination, the stallion inspection committee, in consultation with the performance committee and the representation of the breeding technical committee, draws up the final verdict. The result will then be announced, with an oral and written explanation. If the verdict is positive, the stallion will be registered in the main studbook.
