Preferent

Rianne from Hambroek
528017200200193, STB Section B, born 2002, "Keur Preferent" grade
V. Casperhof’s Freddy: Elite Performance
M. Ritzy Elite
MV. Eyarth Rio (Preferred)
Breeder: G. van der Scheer, Gasselternijveen
Applicant: B. van der Scheer, Gasselternijveen

Hambroek’s Rianne has been awarded the “preferent” designation based on the following offspring:

  • Hambroek’s Benito (b. 2008, by Linde Hoeve’s Elegant) 1st-class foal
  • Hambroek’s Brandus (b. 2009, by ’t Hogeland’s Ferdinand), studbook stallion
  • Hambroek’s Bernice (born 2010, by ’t Hogeland’s Ferdinand) 1st-class mare
  • Hambroek’s Bradley (b. 2012, by Thisthledown Lawrence Of Arabia) 1st-prize foal
  • Hambroek’s Brasil (b. 2014, by Wildzang’s Sinjeur) 1st-class yearling
  • Hambroek’s Riga (born 2018, by Den Bramel’s Baye), star mare

Hambroek’s Rianne’s dam is Ritzy (Elite) and her sire is Casperhof’s Freddy. As a foal in 2002, Rianne received a 1st premium at the regional inspection in Tolbert and was also selected for the CMK (did not compete). Rianne was subsequently selected for the CMK in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2010, achieving her best result in 2005 when she placed first.  At the 2006 regional show in Wezep, she was named section champion and also show champion, and that same year at the CMK, she was awarded the title of “keur.”.

Rianne has given birth to a total of 11 foals, including 7 colts and 4 fillies. Of the colt foals, Hambroek’s Brandus has done well. He was named foal champion at the regional inspection in 2009 and was approved at the CHK in 2012 and registered as a studbook stallion. Rianne’s latest filly, Hambroek’s Riga, is the last breeding product of our father, Geert van der Scheer. Riga was named reserve adult champion at the 2022 regional inspection in Tolbert and has since produced four filly foals. Hambroek’s Rianne is currently enjoying her well-deserved retirement and still grazes daily in the pasture at Stal Hambroek.

Raideboord’s Minke
528017200600116, STB Section A, born 2006, preferred
V. Ysselvliedt’s Sven
M. Raide Boord’s Prime Rose
MV. Vechtzicht’s Hazy
Breeder: J. Hamming, Aduard
Applicant: W. Top, Grootegast

Raideboord’s Minke has been awarded the ”preferent” designation based on the following offspring:

  • Madelief TG (born 2016, by Oldenzijlster Axel) certified mare
  • Marlon TG (born 2017, by Oldenzijlster Atlantis), star mare
  • Maxim TG (born 2018, by Oldenzijlster Atlantis) 1st-class gelding

Minke came to live with us following the sudden death of her breeder, J. HAMMING (ADUARD), in November 2011.

Minke has given us several beautiful foals. Based on three of those foals, we are applying for the predicate. She herself earned a nice first prize in 2012.

Madelief TG, born April 1, 2016  (528017201600058) As a foal, she was named Best Filly at the regional inspection in Tolbert. Since 2022, Madelief TG has also held the title of “Keur.”.

Marlon TG April 24, 2017 (life number 528017201700084) As a foal, she was named Best Filly Foal at the regional inspection in Tolbert and also took home the title of Champion Foal, Section A. In 2024, she was awarded the Ster designation.

Maxim TG April 27, 2018 (registration number: 528017201800157) Participated in the inspection in 2018 and 2022. Awarded a prestigious first prize both times. In 2022, he was named Best Gelding at the regional show in Tolbert and invited to the national show. At the national show, he once again took home the prestigious title of Best Gelding in Section A. In addition, Maxim is a true children’s pony who gave his all for the young handlers. He won first prize in Tolbert and took home a fine second-place finish at the national show.

In addition to these three standouts, Minke has other offspring as well, though we don’t always see them at the inspection. We do, however, hear some nice stories from time to time. Two of them are pulling a cart together. Another one is a lovely children’s pony.

Elcon Polly Pocket
826046020152063, STB Section A, born 2008, Crown Preferred
V. Blaenau Dion
M. Friars' Pocket Full of Posies
MV. Friars Superman
Breeder: A.L. Broomhall, Whitchurch
Applicant: D. Slingerland, Elim

Elcon Polly Pocket has been awarded the "Preferred" designation based on the following offspring:

  • Blue Dyfa’s Jaimy (born 2017, by Penboeth Axle), studbook stallion
  • Blue Dyfa’s Sally (born 2019, by Honey Bee’s Jocremo), a star mare
  • Blue Dyfa’s Phoebe (born 2023, s. Shamrocklake Nighthawk) 1st prize

We purchased Elcon Polly Pocket 10 years ago; at the time, she was in foal to Penboeth Axle. This pairing produced Blue Dyfa’s Jaimy. Polly has meant a lot to us from day one. She has given us many stallions, and unfortunately her first filly was lost far too early due to an accident, but fortunately I now have a 3-year-old filly who has a chance of earning her “ster” predicate at the CMK. She also has a filly foal at her side and is in foal to the stallion Knolton Tropicana for next year.

Sports

Keulse Hoeve’s Twinkel
528017201800134, STB Section A, born in 2018, sports
V. Lowland Danny Boy
M. Weltevreden’s Terracotta Collection
MV. Ysselvliedt’s High Guy
Breeder: R. van Keulen, Etten
Applicant: A. Adriaensen, Steenwijk

M2 (+29) Dressage Competition

We bought Twinkel “green.” From the very first moment, Imena was completely in love with her. Together, they’ve learned and achieved everything. From class B to Z1 in equestrian competitions. She’s been crowned regional champion six times (L1, L2, M1, and M2—twice) and was named 2026 Club Champion of Friesland, featured in various magazine interviews, and even did a cover shoot. Twinkel is a completely honest pony with character—and, of course, her own set of quirks. She enjoys being in the spotlight, but also loves rides through the woods and along the beach. So at the upcoming Hippiade, they’ll get to shine together two more times.
