Bert de Ruiter appointed Member of Merit

During the Central Stallion Show Bert de Ruiter was appointed Member of Merit of the NWPCS. A special award on the occasion of his 25-year anniversary as announcer for the Dutch Welsh Pony and Cob Studbook.

Since 2002, Bert de Ruiter has been the regular announcer of the Dutch Welsh Pony and Cob Studbook. For 25 years his voice has been giving structure to judging, building excitement at the right times and providing calm and clarity in the ring.

For breeders, participants and visitors, his voice is inseparable from the NWPCS. Bert is always well prepared, involved and visibly enjoying his work. Year in, year out.

That this year the tribute took place in IJsselmuiden, his home base, made the moment extra special. In the middle of the ring, his years of dedication and commitment were remembered.

With the appointment as Member of Merit, the Stamboek expresses its great appreciation for 25 years of craftsmanship and commitment. A title Bert more than deserves.
