Section B largest participation with strong interest in CHK 2026

Now that registration for the 2026 Central Stallion Selection has closed, it can be concluded that interest is high. With nearly 160 participants, the CHK is already showing that Welsh breeding is in full swing.

Within the entries, section B stands out with the most participation, while the other sections are also well represented. With that the CHK continues a clear trend that was already visible last season: a growth in membership, growth in foal registrations and a high participation during the summer inspections.

The final numbers will be announced after the turn of the year. One thing is already clear: on February 6 and 7, 2026, it promises to be another two days full of conviviality and beautiful Welsh pony stallions.
