The final of the Dutch Pony Championship for show jumping is coming up! After the successful dressage competition that is in full swing with enthusiastic participants, it is now time for the jumping part. On Saturday, October 4, the four-, five- and six-year-old ponies will take center stage in an instructive competition format at the beautiful accommodation in Lathum.
Any combinations with a 4-, 5- or 6-year-old pony (category C, D or E), registered with a studbook in the Netherlands, can apply directly for the DPC ability test for the young jumping ponies. In addition, you can participate in the additional jumping classes for C, D and E ponies, regardless of previous classification.

Fairness Award from Röwer & Rüb puts harmony center stage
New this year in all age categories of the talent test is the Fairness Award: a prize for the combination that stands out for respectful cooperation between rider and pony, sportsmanlike behavior and fair jumping. This initiative underscores the focus on training, welfare and a positive competition experience. The fairness award is sponsored by one of our main sponsors Röwer & Rüb.
Learning contest format
The ponies ride in groups of three during the aptitude test. This format creates calmness and attention to individual ponies. The judges assess canter, technique, power, attitude and suppleness. There is no jump-off or time pressure: it's all about riding correctly and developing the pony's confidence. Each combination receives targeted feedback to support further training.
A valuable experience for each participant
Each participant will receive a commemorative ribbon. In addition, a photographer will be present to capture the best memories on film and, upon request, even a personalized reel for social media. For the top 3 per age category there are great prizes to be won, such as champion ribbons, blankets sponsored by our main sponsor Hypostore and for the breeders of the winning ponies there is a breeder's premium of € 900 to be distributed. For the additional classes (ponies with starting pass, all ages) there is a total of € 1000 prize money available, in addition to the Fairness Award.
