Time to pass the baton: my farewell as treasurer
Annemiek Kuipers - Smeuldersmet Reduster Fleur
Now the time has really come for me to step down as NWPCS Treasurer.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to transfer the position on the board to a new treasurer and it is unfortunate that an empty spot is created.
I myself have enjoyed doing it and, as with everything in life, there are downsides, but that is inherent in life. You work with all the volunteers, from all sorts of places and with all different emotions. That makes it varied and interesting.
In the past 3.5 years I have met many nice people, made great contacts and attended many wonderful events. A board position like this takes time, that is a fact we have not made a secret of. However, it is not a waste of time and I believe it can really be an addition. Besides supporting the association, it is also a contribution in your personal development. In addition, this board is a nice team and I say goodbye with a heavy heart.
In conclusion; our association needs volunteers to continue to function as it does now so please see if the position of Treasurer - or anything else - suits you and also contribute to the NWPCS.
I want to thank everyone for all the collaborations and see you soon!
Annemiek Kuipers-Smeulders
On behalf of the board of the NWPCS
We would like to thank Annemiek very much for her tremendous effort, commitment and positive contribution over the past years. Her enthusiasm, expertise and collegiality have meant a lot to the board and the association.
We will certainly miss her role, presence and energy, but of course we will give a fitting and personal farewell together at a later date.
Thank you, Annemiek!
