Get an inside look at breeders during barn visit

On Saturday, May 31, the Friends of the Welsh Section A will organize the annual barn visit. Every year we pay a visit to two breeders within section A to take a look behind the scenes and gain inspiration within the breeding. This pleasant and instructive outing has become a fine tradition within our circle of friends.

First stop: Blackblaze Stable - Ton and Ria Schoorlemmer (Schoonebeek)

This year we start at 10:00 at a well-known name within the section A: stable Blackblaze of Ton and Ria Schoorlemmer. This stable has an impressive track record over the years. No fewer than four approved stallions saw the light of day here, and with more than 100 ponies bred here, Ton and Ria have a wealth of experience in breeding. During our visit they are happy to tell you more about their vision, working methods and the successes of their stable.

Second stop: Bluedyfa's stable - Slingerland family (Elim)

After our visit to the Blackblaze stable, we continued our journey to the Slingerland family's Bluedyfa stable. A young, enthusiastic breeding farm with by now a nice group of ponies in the pasture. Here we start with a joint lunch, after which we take our time to have a look at the ponies and get to know the breeding and the future plans of this promising stable.
