As every year, breeders anxiously await the birth of a healthy foal. As a studbook, we hope to register many of these foals again!

Digital registration through My Welsh

Foals can be entered digitally through My Welsh whenever possible. Stallion owners have already entered coverings digitally, so they no longer need to issue a stud slip or birth notification. However, at the request of the mare owner, they can still provide this.

Digital enrollment advantage

When you take your foal through My Welsh register, you will benefit from a lower rate. The registration fee will then be €52.50 according to the fee list, instead of €72.50 for a non-digital registration. Please note that with the first foal, the mare's DNA is also recorded, for which additional fees apply.

Important: UBN number required

When registering your foal, you should also include the UBN number of the location where the mare is located. Be sure to have this number on hand to ensure smooth registration.

Free choice of name

At the NWPCS, you are free to choose the name for your foal. There are no mandatory initial letters. However, please note that you may not use other people's stable names, as this is the business card of breeders. In addition, you are not allowed to use an unregistered stable name.
