Third edition of DPC stallions night unprecedented success

Saturday, March 8, 2025, the third edition of the DPC Stallions Night took place at Zilfia's Hoeve in Houten. Like previous years, it was a ‘full house. More than fifty stallions made their appearance.

As always, the evening opened with cool shows: the dance group DYNAMITE, singer Charlott, and a presentation of DPC champions of 2024. After that, everything went on at a brisk pace, as there was a long program with lots on offer. The stallions Golden Star G and Pronk Stables Geronimo Taonga ran at the NK earlier in the day, and not without success. Golden Star - with over 75% - became Dutch champion with his rider Florence Wind; Geronimo occupied a neat seventh place with Stella Johnson. The duos showed during their DPC performance why they belong to the top of the Netherlands.

Stallions were presented in hand, under saddle or in special jumping blocks. There was a first for A New Zento, who was presented on the long lines. Running were newly approved stallions (Top Gun, Amalia's Pixie, Maserati ER, just to name a few), performance champions (Hania's Xavi, Devon Turfhorst, Coelenhage's Chaplin) and older stallions that have been well preserved (De Goede Ree's Metall). Many jumping ponies made an appearance and showed how carefully they handle wood, such as Gipsy's Mickey McDreamy B-K, Macho ZH, and D&R Sport pony's Cumacho.

It was complemented by a raffle, the opportunity to eat at Tante Fie's prior to the show, the presentation of a foal by Golden Daim F, and a show by Denise Zeinstra with the PRE stallion Titan. The packed stands and overflowing social media accounts show that the third edition of this DPC Stallions Night was once again an unqualified success.
