Oostdijk's Ceridwen Maybelline is out of our line of Vechtzicht's Cascade, 1998 (Crossway's Rodney x Vechtzicht's Crystal, star), she is the foundation dam of Oostdijk Stables. Cascade has never been shown by us at any of the N.W.P.C.S. inspections and still walks with her great-granddaughter in the pasture.

PK's Ceridwen Mabel, 2005, bay, Preferent (Glyncoch Peter Pan x Vechtzicht's Cascade) has taken us one step further within our hobby breeding with Oostdijk's Ceridwen Memory, 2011, falcon, Keur Preferent (Twisthoeve's G. Rhydaman).

Oostdijk's Ceridwen Maybelline, 2015 (Chestnuthofs Amico) is Memory's first foal and from day 1 we knew we had a very special one in the pasture. A pony with a sculpted head, beautiful front, who is not only very sweet, but can also move great. She became Keur without any problems, despite the corona perils.

Losing Memory in 2023, we are now still very happy with the decision, that we never sold Maybelline, despite many requests.

We are proud that now, for the third time in a row, we can apply for the Preferent predicate for a mare bred by Stal Oostdijk with only three offspring shown.

Lady in Black I bought unseen through a picture on social media. At the time, I was looking for a horse for myself to ride, but stumbled upon this mare by chance and was immediately sold.

The thought that this mare was going to make me very happy in the future kept playing in my head.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of a suitable rider/amazone, a career in the sport did not materialize.

Due to having to put down a welsh a pony from our span and a suitable rider failing, I decided to use the amount paid out on a “new” life.
11 months later, with a delivery by the book, our first home-bred foal came into the world. This started the love for breeding. Not realizing that we are now 5 foals further and have achieved such great results in the sport and at the shows.

Sensation CSI obtained the sport predicate based on the following results:

Sensation CSI was born at my work, before she would come for sale I always said that we would like to buy her for our little son Gijs. We were able to buy her as a foal and are still grateful to Christabel for that. Sensation was raised among the fjords, and after two years we picked her up again to prepare her for the inspection. She then received the Ster predicate in Tolbert in 2021 (then pregnant with Cassanova Du Bois), out of this came a beautiful falcon stallion named Gold. Sensation is an all-rounder and likes everything, from swimming with Gijs to a neat dressage test. We hope to have a lot of fun with her in the future.

Today I applied for my membership. One of the reasons is that I would like to transfer our Welsh pony Lady Elean to my own name. We bought her 12 years ago in the name of my father A. van Dillen. The pony is in my ownership and I would also like to apply for a predicate if possible. Lady Elean is in foal to the stallion A New Story this year. We bred a filly “June Jewel” by the stallion Orchards Boginov 8 years ago. Attached I send the studbook proof.
Lady Elean has always performed very well in various disciplines. KNHS Dressage in the ponies and horses up to M1, SGW and jumping in the ponies.

Keizerskroon Highlight obtained the sport predicate based on the following results:

Dressage Ponies: L2+16 Dressage Horse: M1+11

Highlight was born to us in 2016 and is still owned by us. As a 3 year old she became star and reserve day champion in Hellendoorn. As a 4 year old she obtained the crown predicate. Highlight was first used for breeding. There are 3 foals born of which this year the stallion Keizerskroon Moonlight was approved at the CHK and became best 3 year old WPBR. The other 2 are mares and will probably be presented at the keuring next year.
Two years ago we temporarily stopped breeding her to let her compete in the sport. With great success, she often won prizes and almost always came home with 2 or more profit points.
By now she is riding between horses because the rider Jayda vd Boogert is now 18 years old. In August the last profit points were gained in the M1 so we could apply for the sport predicate. Jayda hopes to ride some more competitions in the M2 until Highlight gets too fat because she is now pregnant with the stallion Cicero de Umme, with whom I hope to breed with the best NRPS, German and Welsh bloodlines again a beautiful new generation sport pony.

Barleyless Early in the Morning our all-rounder! For carriage dressage and skill, under saddle with children as well as adults, out in the woods under saddle, in single, 2-man, tandem, 4-man and even for the team nothing is too crazy for this pony. She always adapts wonderfully to the situation. In competition and training for that she can be hot, but with children and for the team she is super quiet and sweet. Meanwhile, in addition to her sports career, she has also become a broodmare. At 7 years old, we are very proud of her and can't wait to see what adventures and achievements we will have with her.
