Cozy evening with welsh stallions in Sonnega
On Saturday, March 23, the welsh stallion show north in Sonnega was on the program. After more than 400 visitors last year, this was now surpassed! With over 500 visitors it was a well attended evening. With 33 stallions in the catalog and also some offspring it was a well filled program.
New this year was a grandstand. This was well used throughout the evening.
Just before the opening show the Lendebloazers were present to open the evening with their pleasant music the atmosphere was already good. Hereafter followed the opening show this was this year provided by 2 approved hackney stallions together with the Welsh A stallion Thosjes Bentley these stallions were presented in the long lines.
A beautiful and sparkling show to begin this evening of stallions.

After this fine performance, the first stallions first appeared in the lane individually, only to return as a group and receive a commemorative ribbon. The different groups in hand were interspersed with stallions showing their ability as use ponies.
In between, trays of snacks were passed around and it was possible to take a look at the straw village.
This year a number of stallions were shown under saddle, Bumba JK, DrenscheAA King's Night Alex, Veenstra's Popcorn, Le Golden Gambler, Jay Magnifico A.B. and Wheemhoeve's Marko.
Also shown were offspring of several stallions, the first foal of Rotan's Red Flash was only 4 days old but showed himself very tough through the track. Also shown were a foal by Vosco's Amir, and a foal by Peacockstud Fast Eddy. And ahead of Blue Dyfa's Jaimy came the 3-year-old Bluedyfas Nikai to support his sire.
Also honored were a number of stallions in attendance who were approved this there at the Central Stallion Show and participated in the Stallion Show in North. The ribbons were handed out by the chairman of the North Section, Melissa Mol. A bunch of tulips was also arranged for each breeder and owner.

It was a wonderful evening with a varied program for all.
And it was concluded by Henk Roel Krol with a 2 span welsh A stallions Rotan Red Flash and De Weyerds Hello i'm Incredible in front of the wagon and even still the welsh A stallion Potteries Simon behind the wagon.
You may have already seen the first reels of the participating stallions. Thanks to Nando Dirksen, all stallion owners can order reels of their stallions.
The organization speaks of a fantastic evening! The program ran smoothly, which could not have been possible without the handlers, ringmasters and all the other volunteers! And thanks to the stallion owners and the many sponsors, there was a beautiful catalog, ribbons and a well-stocked table for the raffle.
