Signing up for the IBOP can only be done this week

Saturday, December 2, is the IBOP test in driving and under saddle. This will take place, just like the performance test of the NWR & WPBR, at riding school De Nieuwe Heuvel in Lunteren.

You can sign up through Nov. 20, 2023 at MijnWelsh.

The IBOP is a talent test for the (younger) pony. By means of a simple test, the pony's aptitude for the sport is tested, this can be done under saddle (riding and jumping test) and in harness (harness and skill test).

If your pony achieved the predicate ‘KEUR’ at the Central Mare Inspection, this can be converted into the final ‘KROON’ predicate provided at least a B premium is achieved in the driving or riding test of the IBOP.

Of course, all ponies can participate, not only those that have achieved the ‘KEUR’ predicate. The minimum age of the ponies is 3 years from October 1 for participation in both the driving and the harnessed test.
