RK Hellendoorn: Brothers earn day champion ribbons with half-sisters

A unique day championship at the last Regional judging of the year, on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Hellendoorn. Section A mare DeWeyerds Hailey (by Springbourne Capricorn) owned by Willard Leeuwis grabbed the top honor and became Overall Day Champion. The Welsh Partbred star mare VPower Heavenly (by Cassanova du Bois) of brother Dirkjan Leeuwis was Reserve Champion. The mares are half-sisters and both have Deweyerds Hunique as their dam.
