The 31st Welsh Tour was a success

As is tradition, the Jan Lanters Welsh Toerrit took place on the fourth Saturday of September. This 31st edition started and ended at De Hietmaat in Hengelo, Gelderland.

With ten participating horse-and-cart teams and riders, it was a wonderful and cheerful ride, despite the weather. With a variety of Welsh ponies—mares, geldings, and stallions—it was a lively and enjoyable event.

The route wound through the beautiful forests and past the meadows of the Achterhoek region. Refreshments were served during the break. More than thirty people joined in the enjoyable lunch afterward. All in all, it was a successful day, and the organizers hope there will be many more to come!
