CK 2022: Free-Range Foals

At the Central Inspection on August 27, 2022, in Putten, the foals will be allowed to walk freely alongside their mothers during the individual evaluation. This is contrary to what the inspection regulations state.

Foals that have already been weaned must, of course, be presented on a lead.

In practical terms, this means that the evaluation will proceed in the same way as during the regional inspections. Each ring has a holding pen where the foals can be led back after evaluation.

The executive board wants to try out free-range training for the foals this year and will evaluate how it went after the CK.
