vacancy

There is a vacancy on both the Breeding Committee (FTC) for Breed-Specific Breeding and the Breeding Committee (FTC) for NWR/WPBR!

Who are we looking for?

As a member of the FTC, you have a broad knowledge of breeding practices in the sections for which the FTC in question provides advice. You are expected to be familiar with bloodlines and the breeding program used within these sections.

What do we ask?

  • You have knowledge of Welsh pony breeding, with a focus on the sections associated with the relevant FTC.
  • You are able to listen carefully to the opinions and ideas of others and clearly explain why your FTC offers certain recommendations.
  • You're a go-getter and someone who isn't afraid to take the lead.
  • You see the glass as half full.
  • You have your sights set on the future, because breeding is about thinking for the long(er) term.

What do we offer?

  • As a member of the FTC, you are closely involved with the NWPCS and can actively contribute ideas and provide advice on policy initiatives.
  • Your knowledge of Welsh pony breeding will be further expanded.
  • You'll gain experience working within an organization.

Those interested in the FTC Breeding Program can request information from Rhodé van Praat, member of the Executive Board responsible for breeding affairs and competitive breeding (bestuur@nwpcs.nl)

Those interested in the FTC NWR/WPBR can request information from Louis Roeters, member of the Executive Board for Breeding and Sports at NWR/WPBR (louis@isobakker.nl).

We would like to receive applications for this volunteer position by March 15, 2022.
