Audience at the Heteren and Tolbert inspections [update]
Babette judging Heteren 22-07-2017
Due to the rising number of infections, the government has once again implemented new measures. As long as the government permits it, both the Central and Northern divisions are committed to doing everything possible to allow the public to attend both inspections in a safe and responsible manner. To make this possible, it’s important that we all adhere to strict rules. If we all remain vigilant, we can still make these days enjoyable despite the measures.
Below are the measures we must all follow together:
- Register through the department to attend the inspection (SPACES ARE LIMITED)
- For Heteren (July 24) via midden@nwpcs.nl.
- Registration is available through Wednesday, July 21
- For Tolbert (July 31) via welshnoord@nwpcs.nl.
- Registration is available through Wednesday, July 28
- Please clearly state your name, the number of people, and your ring preference
- For Heteren (July 24) via midden@nwpcs.nl.
- Only seating is allowed around the ring; you must myself Please be sure to bring a chair with you. This applies whether you are attending as a participant or as a visitor.
- Our grounds staff will designate specific seating areas around the ring. These seats will be spaced 1.5 meters apart, except for visitors from the same household.
- Please minimize walking across the grounds to the food and beverage areas or restrooms. Be sure to always maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from others, even when moving around the grounds. We recommend wearing a face mask when moving around.
- Failure to comply with our regulations or follow instructions will result in denial of access to the premises.
- Without a valid registration or a chair of your own, you cannot take a seat on the grounds.
- You are not allowed to linger unnecessarily in the parking lots. Only grooming or preparing the ponies is permitted.
- Restaurants and bars will remain open during the inspection; please make sure you follow the applicable guidelines while there.
Update: We’ve been receiving many questions about whether participants also need to register as audience members. For each registered pony, two visitors/chaperones are allowed; if you’re coming with more than two people, you must register the additional people as audience members. If you’d like to sit along the ring as an audience member, you must bring your own chair!
If we keep an eye on all of the above, we can still make the most of these next two days.
Thanks in advance, everyone
