We are looking for a Chief Editor

As Editor-in-Chief, you are a fresh creative thinker & coordinator. You determine - in consultation with the NWPCS main board - the course and develop long-term plans and receive compensation for this. You take the lead in the further development of the magazine formula and cross-media expressions.

Tasks

You will develop ideas, devise topics with the volunteers for articles and reports that inspire members of the association.

You manage the (online) editorial team. Motivates and inspires the volunteers by offering suggestions and feedback on their editorial work.

You are responsible for the development and monitoring of the cross media concept. You work within the frameworks indicated by the NWPCS main board.

Profile

As a candidate editor-in-chief of Welsh Pony & Cob magazine and cross-media communications, you must:

• Have an affinity for the pony industry and be familiar with all facets of the Welsh Pony in the Netherlands and surrounding countries;
• possess excellent contact skills to build an extensive network within the studbook;
• Have a good pen and be able to review articles for content and visually;
• Be familiar with editorial work and be able to work layout-driven;
• Have an affinity for online content, including website and social media.
