Section A stallion Roetsenest’s Hedin at Stal Heeckeren

Thijs Reef and Jikke Snelder of Stal Heeckeren recently purchased Roetsenest’s Hedin, a Welsh Section A studbook stallion. They will be offering this gray son of Vechtzicht’s Comet for breeding this year.

Vechtzicht’s Hedin (by Vechtzicht’s Comet) is out of the elite mare Revel Hibiscus, a very prolific broodmare. Among others, she produced the crown-winning, preferent daughter Vechtzicht’s Henol, two keur, preferent daughters (’t Roetsenest Hebe and Vechtzicht’s Hurrah), two “ster,” “preferente” daughters (Vechtzicht’s Helena and Roetsenest’s Hanna), and two “keur” mares (Vechtzicht’s Honey and Roetsenest’s Hyacinte).

So far, Hedin herself has produced one Crown mare, two Keur mares, and five Star mares.
