2021 KNHS Indoor Championships Canceled

In light of current developments surrounding the COVID-19 crisis, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the 2021 KNHS Indoor Championships. This decision was, of course, made in close consultation with the KNHS Regions.

At the end of 2020, there was good reason to hope that, by postponing the KNHS Indoor Championships, there would still be opportunities to hold this exciting title competition. Postponing the championship gave the regions more time to hold qualifying events, selections, and/or regional championships. Unfortunately, it has now become clear that, due to the extension of the current lockdown, this is no longer a realistic plan.

With the latest extension of the lockdown, activities such as tryouts will not be able to take place until mid-February at the earliest, which is too late for many regions to conduct a fair and thorough selection process.

The 2021 KNHS Indoor Championships were scheduled for the weekends from March 19 through April 5.
